We all wish to have a better life, so do they!

Life is so challenging and no one ever chooses to be born poor or needy. However, a small act of kindness can change a needy child’s life and future.

A UNICEF Report about children living in poverty and deprivation in Uganda showed that over half of the children (55%) are living in multidimensional poverty whereby they lack food, clothes, education, medical services, and many more needs, with the highest percentage of these children being orphans and children living in rural areas.

It is such a heart-wrenching situation to watch these children suffer and fail to meet the different ends of life, yet another part of the population in the same country lives in luxury, spending on things that are not even necessities, keeping more clothes than they can even wear, throwing away wasted food every day, and yet sharing some of these things with the needy children and orphans would never leave their lives the same.

You might have ever been in the same situation where you lacked different things in life,  had a friend who lacked, or can even imagine what could happen to your children if you were no more, and all these are not the best situations that we ever want to remember or imagine going through in our lives. All we wish for is to have better lives, hope for the future and brighter moments ahead of us, and so do the orphans and needy children!

Taking action and rendering any possible help today is the best way to uplift these children. “Help The under-privileged Mission Uganda” is one of the platforms that are working towards offering different kinds of help to disadvantaged children. “Help The under-privileged Mission Uganda was formed with the ultimate vision and mission of Empowering the underprivileged for a better tomorrow.

“Help The under privileged Mission Uganda” holds different campaigns such as the one they held in Mparo, Rukiga District where they gave out different items such as books, bars of soap, flour to the underprivileged children. They are also planning to hold a similar campaign where they will give out clothes to the needy children. Therefore, it is their wish to call upon everyone to support them in this cause. It could be pens, books, bars of soap, food items, clothes, that anyone can give, or even more just to put a smile on the children’s faces. After all, the best joy that anyone could ever have is to know that you helped to change someone’s life.

 A Chinese proverb says: “If you always give, you will always have”. Therefore, don’t hold yourself back from giving to the underprivileged children. Join hands together with the “Help The underprivileged Mission Uganda”, by giving the little or much to create a difference in that one particular child’s life, Afterall that’s how true happiness and satisfaction can be gained!

Often many people may decide to go silent about the problems they are noticing in society yet most of the problems would be solved if every individual took initiative, be it small or big.
